Band

Chancers Hooley, Denver's premier Celtic rock band, draws inspiration from classic rock roots, infusing their music with a passionate embrace of Celtic rock. Known for their lively performances, the band thrives on creating a vibrant atmosphere, ensuring each show is a captivating experience through engaging the audience with infectious energy. 

Tim Dwyer

- Guitarist 

Meet Tim Dwyer, the charismatic frontman, guitarist, and jokester of Chancers Hooley. With a musical journey rooted in classic rock, Tim began his career playing with various bands. He co-founded Chancers Hooley 15 years ago and has been having a blast ever since, bringing entertainment and laughter to the audience. 

Kevin McCotter 

- Bass/Guitar 

Kevin McCotter (bass and guitar) is a multi instrumentalist originally from the San Francisco Bay Area.  Kevin performed with multiple SF based rock and blues bands before moving to Colorado and discovering a passion for Celtic music.  Kevin has been a part of Chancer's Hooley for over 10 years and truly enjoys performing at pubs and festivals all over Colorado and beyond. 

Linda Bolander 

- Fiddle/Violin 

Introducing Linda Bolander, a classically trained violinist turned fiddler, and an original member and co-founder of Chancer’s Hooley. Her musical journey adds a unique touch to the Celtic Rock fusion, enriching the band’s sound with her expertise and passion for the fiddle.  

Dave Hoffman

 - Drums

Dave started playing drums in grade school, and has continued ever since. He has performed in many different groups, including concert bands, marching bands, pit orchestras, country, jazz, rock and swing bands (three of those with Tim Dwyer),  as well as Symphony orchestras. Dave especially enjoys the camaraderie and fun of Chancer’s Hooley,  and it allows him to reconnect with the Irish side of his family. 

Robin Dwyer- Vocals/Accordion/Concertina/Mandolin 

Robin Dwyer, originally from Texas, began her musical journey studying vocal performance and singing opera before finding her niche in the Irish band scene. Starting as the “band mom,” she eventually joined in the fun, contributing vocals, percussion, mandolin, and concertina to the ensemble.



Jack Erwin

- Bass

Meet Jack Erwin,  The Versatile bassist of Chancer’s Hooley  and Colorado native. Jack's musical Journey began at the age of 10, expanding his taste from classic rock and metal to the blues and soul. He's played with various bands including Dan Treanor's Afrosippi Band, and is a regular bass player for MJ & The Side Gig, Rodney Black and the Blacklist, KDog and the Howlers, and, of course, Chancer’s Hooley. Beyond his musical talents, Jack works as a principal software engineer, enjoys attending concerts, Brewing beer, and, impressively, has yet to get on his wife's last nerve.
